Mumbai’s school cricketer Tanishq Gate is in the limelight. This 13-year-old cricketer has played 1045 runs. This incredible innings from the Wonder Boy bat came out in the semi-final of the Under-14 Navi Mumbai Shield Invitational Cricket Tournament played between school teams.
Tanishq’s brillliant batting has reminded of that innings of Pranav Dharnad, when he scored 1009 runs in an innings two years ago. Dharnad had done this in the Inter School Tournament Bhandari Cup. Then Pranav made a world record by playing such a huge innings in school cricket. He broke Arthur Collins’ record, who played 628 innings in 1899.
